Strategy is our love language.

We can build and enhance together.

Strategic planning is often thought of as a necessary action that people begrudgingly participate in. We believe this is a facilitation issue. Strategy can be, and should be, fun.

Recruit, retain, and develop with enthusiasm.

Strategic Planning.

SWOT. SOAR. PESTEL. There are many different formats for assessing goals and the activities needed to achieve them. Our goal is to simplify the process so that you can focus on developing viable activities for ambitious goals. We can help you identify goals (mission driven and team driven), develop a recruitment and retention plan, and facilitate meaningful discussions regarding roles and responsibilities. Strategy should be uplifting and fun. We can help you achieve that.

Onboarding.

Starting a new position should be fun—and it should set the tone for workplace culture and expectations. An effective onboarding program provides more than just the handbook and benefits information. It helps new employees identify their unique contributions to workplace culture and how their position fits the broader mission. Programs need to address HR related issues (such as benefits and codes of conduct) and opportunities for engagement and growth. We can help you develop onboarding materials that set the stage for strong retention. This includes revamping policy manuals, initial training materials, and creating effective multi-step plans for fueling connection.

Training.

Strengthening our workplace culture requires a high level of emotional intelligence, effective communication strategies, and a culture of inclusion. While there are many people training on these issues, our value add comes from years of experience facilitating fun and engaging sessions. We also know that there are difficult conversations that need to be intentionally facilitated around issues of self-care, inclusion, harassment, burn-out, and bias. We believe these conversations require a mix of strategy, authenticity, and expertise. Our facilitation is designed to help you shift from mandatory to meaningful.

Recruitment and Retention.

Achieving your goals is going to require help. Recruitment and retention plans vary by organization, agency, and mission. However, the key tenets remain the same. Recruitment requires a tailored message, defined expectations, and an honest reflection on your ‘why’. Retention requires a strong workplace culture, opportunities for growth, and a honest reflection on how well you live up to your values. We have a tiered approach that focuses on action steps and current employee assessment. We can help you craft a recruitment and retention plan that is sustainable and authentic.

Effective strategy incorporates the strengths, skills, and untapped gifts of employees. It requires us to acknowledge that unspoken expectations fuel resentment and that undefined goals fuel discontentment. A clear strategy provides attainable action steps mixed with vision and grit.
